At Vintertreffet back in February I had my first performance as a solo artist.
Here's a clip of one of the songs. It is a perfect illustration of what I want my music to sound like: https://www.facebook.com/reel/238839562648253
I aim to utilize the extremes of the dynamic spectrum - from the most delicate and atmospheric to absolute brutal mayhem. My influences range from The Cardigans and Daniel Lanois to Mike Stern and Pantera.
My obsession with recording started in the studios at Berklee a few decades ago. Check out my /credits
I have set up a state-of-the-art studio for recording guitar tracks at home. Studio tour can be found here: /skogtune-studios
I criss-crossed the country with indie artists for years. I've played “everywhere” from the tiniest stage to Gillette Stadium and The Xfinity Center.

I played on a U2 sound-alike for the song Vertigo a while back with some great friends (¾ Mission Hill!). Besides having an incredible time hanging with the guys I had so much fun trying to nail The Edge's guitar tone.

Malukah just released her rendition of Coldplay's “Yellow”. Had so much fun trying to make my guitar sound like Coldplay.

The Vaksdalposten newspaper did a video interview with me after the performances at Vintertreffet.

Got to contribute a bit to this beautiful cover of a Stylistics song called Betcha By Golly, Wow. This recording was part of The Contrlroom's Content Monday Series.

Recently, I had the most fun that I've ever had on a Monday morning. Charles Haynes invited me to collaborate in his new “Content Monday Series”, where he invites musicians to record a song in his studio.

Hard to describe the the feeling standing next to your big hero and hearing the soundtrack of your life being played back to you. Playing with Knut Erik Østgård was a dream come true for me! What a giant of a man and legendary singer!

I had so much fun backing up Åge Sten Nilsen at Vaksdalstreffet. I am blown away by this man’s ability to nail every single note with conviction and soul!
