About Alexander

Session guitar player Alexander Knutsen currently resides in Boston, MA. He has studied with Wayne Krantz (Steely Dan), Mike Mangini (Steve Vai) and Joe Stump. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2004 he has played on more than 160 recording sessions. His recording credits include EMI recording artist Aika, award-winning singer/songwriters Judith de los Santos and Liz Stahler, producer Nicolas Farmakalidis, Warner/Chappell staff songwriter Megan James, multi-platinum engineer Rich Mendelson and Kanye West-drummer Charles Haynes. He has also been touring internationally in Mexico, Japan, Norway and Vietnam, as well as in the U.S. Alexander is a member of Boston-based rock band, Mission Hill (named Top Local Band to watch in 2010 by Boston Music Spotlight), whose debut album will be out on Toucan Cove/Universal 4/20/2010.
