About Alexander

Session guitar player Alexander Knutsen currently resides in Boston, MA. He has studied with Wayne Krantz (Steely Dan), Mike Mangini (Steve Vai) and Joe Stump. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2004 he has played on more than 140 recording sessions. His recording credits include EMI recording artist Aika, award-winning singer/songwriters Judith de los Santos, Liz Stahler and Nate Niksa, producers Yan Perchuk and Nicolas Farmakalidis, Warner/Chappell staff songwriter Megan James, award-winning jazz trumpeter Per Joergensen, and multi-platinum engineer Rich Mendelson. He has also been touring internationally in Mexico and Japan. This fall he will be featured on album releases by artists Karl Phillip, Tatiana and Amy Crawford.
